Horses Story - Jai and Veeru got a second life
after meeting with horrified accident

A case of illegal Horse Cart Racing taken place on Eastern Express Highway on Sunday, 17 June 2007 in which Two Victoria Buggis met with an accident with Taxi No.MH-03-F-4189 between Bhandup & Mulund stretch on Highway.
Bombay SPCA got a complaint from Police Control Room on 17.6.2007 at about 11.30 pm. A team of BSPCA including BSDPHA Animal ambulance along with Doctors, Dressers, Driver, and 6 Ward boys reached to the site of accident & saw two adult horses seriously injured and lying on the road. Both the horses brought to the hospital and were named as Jai and Veeru by the hospital.
At the time of admission Jai was having total muscle tear below right elbow bruised all over the body, less chances of survival Jai has undergone 3 times major surgical operation lasted for 4-5 hours. With great devotion, dedication of the hospital staff through out day and night, Animals were looked after for their sickness and recovered completely.
At the time of admission Veeru had extensive muscle tear on the chest and tearing of left upper and lower eye lid and critical in condition and bruised all over the body. No chances of survival Jai has undergone 3 times major surgical operation lasted for 4-5 hours. With great devotion, dedication of the hospital staff through out day and night, Animals were looked after for their sickness and recovered completely.
This is a unique example of devotion, dedication of Doctors, Hospital
staff in saving Jai & Veeru which were on the verge of collapsing
stage. Hospital staff has celebrated their full recovery from sickness
by praying god for long life of Jai and Veeru.
