The ambulance service is provided for small and large stray / sick / injured / abandoned animals upto 11 pm.
- Adoption of ownerless / abandoned animals
Of late it has been seen that owners are abandoning their animals by giving wrong name, address / telephone numbers.
- Sterilization programme for stray dogs and cats of other NGOs
To control stray population of dogs / cats in Mumbai, NGOs are encouraged to bring stray animals for sterilization in Animal Hospital.
- Animal Health Camps for Small and Large Animals
Animal Health Camps are being held regularly for inoculation / vaccination of infectious / contagious diseases from time to time.
- Awareness programmes through Press / Media
Bombay SPCA and Animal Hospital activities are given wide publicity for awareness in public.
- Lectures and Slide Shows in School and Colleges
Regular awareness programmes is being done in various School / Colleges.
- Student Groups visits to Bombay SPCA and Animal Hospital
Regular Schools and Colleges are encouraged to visit Bombay SPCA and Animal Hospital for awareness.
- Animal Welfare Education Programmes
Training courses are regularly held at Animal Hospital as well as on behalf of Animal Welfare Board of India.
- Mixed Breed Dog Shows
To encourage love for animals, time to time Dogs Shows are held in Animal Hospital.
